Alexander Gehrig

Head of Operations & Instructor

Hello everyone, my name is Alex Gehrig. Ive been passionate about swimming ever since I jumped off the big diving board when I was 5😂. I later rediscovered the sport as a form of cross-training, which helped me excel and shatter school records in cross-country and track. I'm currently a sophomore at Auburn and studying Finance. I bring a patient and engaging attitude to every lesson  I teach. My CPR/AED and First Aid certifications, combined with my hands-on teaching experience, have fueled my dedication to making a meaningful difference in his students’ progress.  I enjoy reading,  playing cards, and learning new languages.

Bryce Edwards

           Cobb Instructor

Hi! My name is Bryce Edwards and I’m currently a freshman at Kennesaw State University. I’ve been swimming since 5th grade and have competed on both a summer swim team and my high school swim team.

Swimming has been a big part of my life for years, and I love sharing that passion with others. I bring a good sense of humor and work hard to help kids feel confident and excited about learning to swim. I want every lesson to be fun and empowering.

What inspired me to start teaching was a coach I had growing up who made the pool feel like the best place to be safe, challenging, and fun. I hope to give that same experience to every kid I teach.

Outside of swimming, a fun fact about me is that I love cooking and trying out new recipes.

Grace Iannone

     Cobb Instructor

Hi! My name is Grace Iannone, and I’ve proudly called Georgia home for the past 16 years. I’m currently a rising junior at Pope High School and have been a dedicated member of the Stingrays year-round swim team for the past three years.

Swimming is not just a sport for me it’s a passion. I absolutely love the idea of working with kids and helping them learn how to swim, combining fun with safety in each lesson.

Beyond swimming, I’m also interested in pursuing a future in business and entrepreneurship. I believe the skills I’m developing through teaching and leadership will carry over into any career path I choose.

I’m excited to bring energy, patience, and lots of fun to each swim lesson. I can’t wait to help your child grow confident in the water and make the most of every summer!

   Dutch Turner

           Cobb Instructor

Hi, I'm Dutch Turner from Marietta. I'm going to be an upcoming freshman at UGA and I'm studying Biomechanical engineering. I've been swimming since 7th grade and I was the captain of my HS team. I have a lot of experience teaching and being with younger kids because I'm a camp counselor at my other job. I love listening to kids and their wacky thought processes. One fun fact about me is that I'm in a metal band. I decided to start teaching because of my camp job as well.
